Fr. Timothy Fitzgerald, C.P. is a native of Philadelphia, PA . He attended schools in the Philadelphia area and entered the US Navy in 1944. He went to LaSalle College from 1946-1948, entered the Passionists in 1948, and was professed August 15, 1950. He was ordained by Bishop Cuthbert O’Gara, a Passionist in 1956. After some years in Rome for further studies and administrative duties, he returned to the states in 1965. After working in formation, he taught theology at Duquesne University for some years.
Until very recently, Fr. Tim ministered as an itinerant preacher, giving parish missions and retreats for priests, religious, and laity.
Presently, he is a member of the retreat team at Saint Paul’s Retreat Center.
