Healing is a process by which what is wounded or sick becomes healthy or whole. In the New Testament we find many examples of physical and spiritual healing by Jesus and his disciples. But mental and emotional healing was not explicitly prayed for since these ideas did not exist. Yet Jesus healed the whole person when he brought God’s grace upon them. The key ingredient to this inner healing is the virtue of forgiveness.
Each of us is in need of some healing from wounds of the past. Through presentation, discussion and prayer, we will strive to move from fear to courage, anger to serenity, sadness to joy, guilt to self-forgiveness, and discouragement to hope.
