Entering into Holy Week ~ Preparing for the Paschal Triduum
A Quiet Day of Reflection
The Paschal Triduum, the solemn ‘three days’ that lead to Easter, is the high point of our liturgical celebration throughout the year. During these days we gather to commemorate the complete self-offering of Jesus in his Passion and Death on the Cross.
We invite you to join us for a quiet day of reflection on Tuesday of Holy Week as we prepare to spiritually enter into the meaning of these days. Our reflection will focus on the ‘interior’ attitudes of Jesus ~ and how they reveal the fullness and depth of God’s love for us.
This quiet ‘desert day’ will include time for personal reflection, Stations of the Cross with audio visuals, and the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and will conclude with the celebration of the Eucharist. For your personal reflection, you may want to bring your Bible or other materials for spiritual reading.
