Preparing for the Paschal Triduum: A Quiet Day of Reflection – March 27, 2018

  • 10:00 AM
  • Call the Retreat Center at 412-381-7676

The Paschal Triduum, the three days that lead to Easter, are the high point of our liturgical celebration throughout the year. On Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday we commemorate the complete self-giving of Jesus in his Passion and Death on the Cross.

We invite you to join us for a quiet day of reflection on Tuesday of Holy Week as we prepare to celebrate these sacred days. This quiet ‘desert day’ will begin with a brief reflection on the events of Holy Week followed by time for personal reflection, Stations of the Cross with audio visuals, and the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Following lunch there will again be time for personal reflection. The day will conclude with the celebration of the Eucharist.

For your reflection, you may want to bring your personal Bible or other materials for spiritual reading.

Presenters: Fr. Junesh Xavier, C.P. and Fr. Gerald Laba, C.P.
